It's a fairly generic network television production that features a case of the week and opts to forget about character growth in most cases. Bull is to much of an attempt to an eccentric person that it fails because Michael Weatherly should not have been the one tasked with his portrayal. Apparently this is loosely based on Dr. Phil and his early career yet and that a lone could have made for an interesting narrative. Yet here we are, more generic storytelling with an amazing foundation.
