The setup is solid, the investigation is solid, and it had a good comedic bit with the automatic typewriter. The ending, however, left something to be desired. Too often Columbo episodes end with him finding one last gotcha piece of evidence in the last minute that usually isn't half as gratifying as the evidence he found earlier in the episode.

A strange 70's gym, a strong baddie and Columbo working out, good times.
