So-so crime film with a villain who is more interesting than average. It kind of bugged me that it wasn't clearly explained how the police figured out the guy's name, or how they figured out that he wasn't using a white van. But it was engaging anyway. Dutton is a convincing police chief.

Pretty decent tv thriller.

Anyone who followed the sniper attacks this film documents will morbidly admit the story would make a great big-screen picture, and this made-for-TV effort manages to do this commendably on a budget. Covers all the key points, gives us a bit of background into all the characters, and toes the excitement/sensitivity line well. Yes, there's the odd bit of artistic license taken but that's to be expected. Dutton is excellent as the police chief, and the rest of the main cast hold their own too.
