While there are things that can be improved upon, DMZ does plenty right and tells a very easy to follow story. Sometimes that is enough to hook the audience and make them invest in your world. The comic is much more fleshed out in terms of world building but this small scale story for TV is effective. Bratt steals the show without a doubt.

Before beginning of the DMZ, I was so much hyped because generally I loved Ava DuVernay’s work and art. Also subject and post apocalyptic theme seemed very catchy.
