Season 1 - Thirty years ago, the Eurasian continent was devastated by a supermassive "spatial quake"—a phenomenon involving space vibrations of unknown origin—resulting in the deaths of over 150 million people. Since then, these quakes have been plaguing the world intermittently, albeit on a lighter scale. Shidou Itsuka discovers a mysterious girl at the source of a spatial quake, who is revealed to be a "Spirit," an otherworldly entity whose appearance triggers the quakes. (myanimelist.com)

Ratings & Reviews
April 10 (2013) - S1E1
Shido Itsuka is an ordinary high school student living with his little sister in Tengu City, a city that is often disrupted by "spatial quakes." During a spatial quake at the beginning of the school year, he meets a beautiful and mysterious "Spirit." (imdb)
Date A Live: Date to Date (2013) - S1E13
When Origami Tobiichi asks Shidou Itsuka out on a date, Shidou considers this his best opportunity to set the record straight and end their relationship. However, his attempts to break up with her fail; in fact, Origami gladly tolerates Shidou's humiliating requests and blunt comments! Shidou's unconventional mission incidentally complicates his relationship with Tooka Yatogami, and it seems that easing the tension is only possible by going on another date. (myanimelist.com)
