The story of the rise and fall of a once successful production company, and the circle of friends behind it. When founding member Jan De Ridder disappeared, taking a hundred million Belgian francs of the company's account with him, the demise of 'de Parelvissers' was imminent. Now, five years later, his younger brother Piet invites the old friends for a weekend in the Ardennes, hoping that together they may find some answers about what might have happened to Jan.
