Attorney Mai Sakagami (Kumiko Aso), intrigued by the handyman Yutaro Mashiba (Masaki Suda) who appeared in court as a defendant, immediately arranges his bail and introduces him to a job. It's the secret work that Mai's brother, Keiji Sakagami (Takayuki Yamada), runs alone through his company “dele. LIFE”...

If my phone isn't touched for 48 hours, please delete all the data on it. That was the request made to “dele. LIFE,” run by programmer Keiji Sakagami (Takayuki Yamada), by Shiori Miyauchi (Kom_I). Now, a signal indicating her phone has stopped being used has been received.

An elderly man named Fumio Urata (Genichiro Takahashi), who runs a photo studio in a run-down town, appeared at the “dele. LIFE” office. Since President Keiji Sakagami (Takayuki Yamada) was out, Yutaro Mashiba (Masaki Suda) took it upon himself to show Urata inside the office.

“They say a person dies twice.” “I, who possess a cursed power.” “That decision couldn't have been wrong.”—An email filled with such enigmatic phrases and inner turmoil, which could be interpreted as a suicide note, arrived at dele. LIFE. The sender was a 35-year-old man named Yuji Higurashi (Yōjirō Noda). He was the person who had requested dele. LIFE to delete a PDF file after his death.

It had been 72 hours since Satoshi Amari (Hideki Asahina), who had requested “dele. LIFE” to delete his data after death, lost control of his computer. Upon receiving the signal alerting him to this fact, Keiji Sakagami (Takayuki Yamada), president of “dele. LIFE,” instructed his partner Yutaro Mashiba (Masaki Suda) to confirm the death and then left the office.

In a vacation home area of Nagano, a runaway girl, Junko Ishimori (Aina Yamada), was found dead, covered in snow as if asleep. No suicide note was found, and the police ruled it a suicide. However, Junko's parents, Shunichi Ishimori (Eiji Yokota) and Miho Ishimori (Reika Kirishima), could not find peace.

Yutaro Mashiba (Masaki Suda), who confirmed the death of client Takashi Sasamoto (Hosumi Nishigaya), has returned to “dele. LIFE.” Keiji Sakagami (Takayuki Yamada) immediately attempts to delete the files requested for post-mortem erasure.

Tatsumi Hitoshi (Otsuka Akio), who had requested post-mortem data deletion from dele. LIFE, has died. A signal indicating the shutdown of his computer was sent to the terminal of dele. LIFE's president, Sakagami Keiji (Yamada Takayuki).
