Reminscent of Peep Show and Twin Peaks, but very relaxed, family-friendly and surprsingly wholesome without being overwrought.

Gentle genius.

It's a really solid little show with some great understated moments of comedy and a dash of emotion. It effortlessly draws you into it's little world. I liked every character and it's got a beautiful tone to it. It reminds me of "Wilfred" and Ricky Gervais' shows.

Dry, English humor. Not much going on, quite chill experience. Mostly about dialogues. But for me it's boring. Watched 2 episodes.

The 2022 special was a drop in quality compared to the prior 3 seasons from 2014-2017.

A bit like if Victoria Wood wrote Last Of The Summer Wine (although she would give the female characters a bit more depth!). Gets a bit better if you stick with it.

We need more like this.

Started off looking like a boring idea - but became a real gem! Who knew the world of metal-detecting could be so interesting! I am off to start my collection of found ring-pulls!
