The idea of syphilis to be the motor to start the leathal game with Dracula was very good. Unfortunately the story makes some irritating jumps and the timeline is not always accurate. Myles is hot like she ought to be, but majority of the roles are poorly choosen. Suchet is also kind of out of his place. The plot does not give anything new, but recycles the old ideas.

Makes me wonder why film-makers bother to buy the rights for a well-known story and then proceed to mess about with the key aspects that made that story great in the first place. Brand recognition, I suppose. The plot changes aren't the biggest flaw here, though - the lack of character development and annoyingly jumpy editing are far bigger problems. Marc Warren is miscast, too. He ain't suave enough to carry off the Count.
