It's a shame that this funny and warmhearted show was not able to find the audience to get it to a second season (Fox airing the episodes out of order sure as shit didn't help). It wasn't really laugh-out-loud hysterical at any point, but just had a nice likable vibe to it, good performances (after pissing off all Veronica Mars fans in that show, Chris Lowell is a revelation here) and managed to tackle heady topics like military PTSD in a smart, subtle, non-Very Special Episode way.
