The series doesn't do anything to comment on the logistics or practicality of these cheap lifestyles, but it's still fascinating nonetheless. It can range from people who are genuinely resourceful to people who are utterly insane showcasing many distinct ways that people can be both. Highlights for me are the white trash family that literally stole medical equipment to make their own dentist office and a woman of a wealthy black family who steals her sister's stuff to repackage it as a gift.
