Just off-the-wall humor that worked so, so well, but I think a lot of it went over little kids heads for why it was so meta and challenging of show norms. It definitely was not meant for kids, more for teens and adults, so giving it a Saturday morning slot instead of a prime-time slot (which WB was doing at the time!) was a misstep. Short-lived but very good.
