While "Nick Knight" earlier mined a vampire-cop vein, this is the first werewolf-fuzz hybrid I can recall. Frightmeister Hickox gets the over-the-top action/horror aspects right but can't steer the flick clear of last-reel cliches. This delivers on enough of its promise to make it worth a look, though I felt compelled to dock the pic for using the line "I'm getting too old for this." And Mario shouts "Nooooo!" in audio-distorted slo mo not once but twice, which is at least once too often.

Could have been a contender. Could have been something good.

An interesting if poorly directed crime horror film. The acting is mediocre at best but the effects crew and stunt team do the best they can with what they have. The film itself is both played low key while the action is over the top. It doesn't all work but it is entertaining.

Seen a fair while ago and don't remember much about it. I believe the story being told was decent enough, therefore the execution and look is what must make it so forgettable.
