God this was boring. It had about the level of writing, directing, set design and effects as you'd expect from the average SyFy Original Movie, with a script that feels like it's trying to water down Gundam for Western audiences even tho it was only *released* in Japan, the giant robots barely show up until an hour in, the political content is baffling and forced in, and our protagonist is bland and obstructive and I don't even know why he *is* our protagonist. Also, why is it called "Saviour"!?
