Season 1 - While at school, Taniyama Mai and her friends like to exchange ghost stories. Apparently, there is an abandoned school building on their campus that is the center of many ghost stories. During the story, they are interrupted by a mysterious male figure. The person turns out to be Shibuya Kazuya, a 17-year-old who is president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Company. He was called by the principal to investigate the stories surrounding the abandoned school building. (myanimelist.net)

While investigating the strange house, Mai is snatched by villains in lab coats and taken to a bloodstained torture chamber. Paralyzed, bound, with a blade at her throat, her screams of terror go unheard.

The dream leaves Mai traumatised, but prompts new speculation by the team regarding the house's spirits. Lin carries out a ritual to summon the spirit of one of the missing people, who gives the SPR team a new lead. The discovery of one of the missing people's corpse induces Oliver Davis, one of the investigators on another team, to reveal himself as an impostor.

Naru is now giving up because Urado was like a monster who cannot be exorcised. Meanwhile packaging their stuff Masako went missing.

Noroi no ie #1 (2007) - S1E22

The SPR team encounters their most horrifying case yet. A child has been marked for death by something awful from beyond. When the evil spirit is driven out, it quickly takes another host - Naru.

Noroi no ie #2 (2007) - S1E23

The remaining psychics tour around the area in order to verify Mai's dreams. A member of the family tries to commit suicide, fearing that others may be killed as a result of possession. Ayako provides each family member with protective charms, though the two children and another family member refuse to use them. Mai uses the Kuji to prevent Katsuki, one of the family members, from jumping off a cliff, but ends up affecting another family member, Wakako, and effectively wards ...

Noroi no ie #3 (2007) - S1E24

Mai's abilities reveal treachery and tangled souls seeking rebirth at the foot of a cliff. The SPR must fight for their very lives when a massive horde of the undead attacks.

Noroi no ie #4 (2007) - S1E25

The team is exhausted, outnumbered, and near defeat. Ayako draws out the spirits of the enslaved, releasing Naru from his unnatural slumber. Now, the fate of his friends is in his hands.
