An odd one. By all accounts, from it's complete disregard for cohesive plotting and characterization, this was both the worst place to begin the Gundam franchise and also bad. Yet it looks gorgeous, has some of the highest quality flair and style in design and charm I've seen in anime in a while, and has stayed with me for its quirky and sometimes gibbering personality. So the rating's higher than expected out of personal taste - DON'T view unless you're a hardcore fan or prepared for this.
