Set in an old and prestigious ryotei (trad. Japanese restaurant) in a minor area in mid-Tokyo, a young Itamae (cook of Japanese trad.-style dishes) struggles with life, love and work while the long trading ryotei and beloved old town/area face changes inflicted by time. Shows the intimate relationships of the old-style community, asks what are the most important things to you, tells how difficult it can be to choose.
