Herr von Hancken

The egocentric captain von Hancken arrives with his family to the Iglinge spa in the early 19th century to cure his real and imagined ills. When Dr. Wurm gives him six weeks to live, his self-pity grows while he becomes the object of compassion and interest. He falls in love with the beautiful and mysterious vicomtess.
