Quasisupernatural TV-movie, produced by the Children's TV Workshop, depicts the plight of young Walter when he and his family move into an old rural Ohio home once owned by a Dutchman who helped slaves escape through the pre-Civil War underground. The house's reputation for being haunted results in a spectral-like image scaring the black family half to death on a stormy night as well as the appearance of an old man., Pluto, who could be a ghost too.
