Has a clever framing device to show the tactics used to control - systematically and escalating with each episode.

Occasionally amusing and very much biased, the series brings some pivotal points in the history of well-known tyrannical rulers of the last 100 years while skipping a multitude of facts, failing to follow key threads, ask hard questions and even insinuate falsehood in order to advance the desired narrative. But since each of those characters are very interesting if only for the magnitude of their crimes, the show is ultimately worth watching if only to set one on the path of further exploration.
