Prison documentaries are nothing new and it's impossible to truly highlight how horrible they can be when it's being publically filmed, but this isn't too bad despite the host asking redundant questions and acting like a moron. The purpose of this documentary is to show the variety of prisons around the world and it is legitimately fascinating how differently they function. It's pretty formulaic; however, as the same scenarios are played out each episode so it's only tolerable in small bursts.
