Moffat's first Victorian classic set in modern day. Or maybe not his first. What am I? His biographer? It has an interesting idea, good plot and snappy dialogue. But I have a huge problem with Nesbitt. He's good as Jekyll, but bad as Hyde (pun totally intended). He's not scary, he's Jim Carrey and it's embarrassing how everyone keep referring to him as a good-looking sex-god, when I would be generous to call him average-looking and his behaviour is what a clueless PUA thinks women are into.

It's not bad, but with a bit more polishing of the story and the characters this would have been much better. As it stands now the multitude of plot holes and silly side characters drag it down.

James Nesbit delivers the performance of a lifetime. With minimal makeup he creates a milquetoast Jekyll and deliciously hammy and ungodly scary Mr. Hyde. He alone is worth the price of admission.
