This film is part of a mini-series run by French network Antenne 2 and Le Figaro Magazine consisting of five ten-minute episodes. Ιn his episode, Herzog enquires into the quality of France, identifying rugby and wine as two major sources of pride. He thus shows two sommeliers at a dégustation of a precious vintage. In the second part, rugby players put on bandages to protect themselves from the blows they will receive during the match.

This is really just two scenes, one of two men enjoying a wine taste test, and another of men playing rugby. The two segments are strikingly different, but both are fairly interesting, with the rugby segment being the more Herzog-y of the two. Slow-motion shots of men pounding the crap out of each other with gorgeous vocal music playing behind it takes up about the last third of the film. So what's the point of all of this? I don't really know.
