Les papillons noirs

Cinematography is decent and the plot is creative but it's also filled with implausibilities and the pacing is bogged down by needless melodrama. The blend of gratuitous nudity and violence seemed of pretty poor taste to me. Characters are either uninteresting or unlikable. Overall I can't say I enjoyed it. Watching this, I kept thinking this could have been much better trimmed down as a two hours movie or a three hours mini-series.
