This is an '80s TV movie, so it often feels more like a play than a real movie. Occasionally we go outside... and there's even a few battle scenes... but all those combat scenes are highly generic, and look like they were all shot in one day on the same location. No matter. I wasn't looking for an action movie anyway. Rich historical detail (although I'm sure they don't stick *that* close to the truth), fine performances, witty and quotable dialogue
