It initially adds some good extra details, and is at first a faithful adaptation, but the second half of the overly long tv movie isn't, and it goes to some stupid places. The ending was pretty good though. In regards to overall impact, this hour long tv movie doesn't compare to the 10 minute anime episode, which was fantastic.

This movie was absolutely trippy. It's one of those highly imaginative story lines that just gives you a gut feeling. The gut feeling that you won't see or experience this kind of movie, for a good long while. Intelligent and creative.

Poorly done, but the "long dream" premise itself was so imaginative, and well, creepy, that it sticks with you all the same.

This is truly an amazing concept. If only the effects could have been better this could have easily been rated much higher. This is the kind if movie that makes you think and starts thoughtful conversations among friends.
