This probably serves as the purest strain of heist story in film/TV history. The gadgetry and intrigue exist as a product of their time in a way that would just seem bizarre or hokey or obsolete in any other era. I just wish Bruce Geller hadn't made the decision to minimize characterization (and never explain cast changes). That ultimately made this the smartest show where you don't care about the characters. The show remains memorable now mostly for the massive shit the 1995 film took on it.

For such an older show, with dated technology and ideas, it actually holds up really well. I can't unsee Peter Graves and his Airplane! role at this point.
