Riveting action! Great acting. Though the plot leaves some things to be desired, it was much richer than I'd expect from this setting.

I thought this was a movie, but it's actually considered a TV series and this was the first season. It plays well as a little over a 2 hour movie. The title and premise come from an old movie. The very wealthy are offered a human target for hunting. The switch here is that the setting is a big city not a jungle. Intense and non-stop action. Some of the acting and dialogue isn't the greatest, so I just knocked it down a little for those reasons. Still, an entertaining watch.

Promising premise and superb acting by Waltz, but becomes increasingly implausible as the plot unwinds.

It starts off well, but as it develops it doesn't sustain itself with incompetent Hunters and an anti-climax ending.

Despite the ludicrous setup this movie provides a lot of edge of your seat excitement and many thrilling moments. That is, if you can get past the absolute stupidity of the backdrop. Liam Hemsworth was pretty great in this. The action is fast and much of it was unexpected. I was quite annoyed by the extremely short run times of each episode though. Worthwhile.
