Mother Knows Best

Probably the most entertaining Lifetime TV movie out there, it's a like a really great episode of "Desperate Housewives", except with better-fleshed-out dramatic situations... even a similar campy tone (and oddly similar background music). But with only one desperate, over-privileged housewife, of course. (And after writing this, I look it up, and the director Larry Shaw was executive producer and director of Desperate Housewives. The style is unmistakable.)
