Mulaney, I know Seinfeld, I watched Seinfeld, Seinfeld is a show I've laughed at. Mulaney, you are no Seinfeld.

Maybe this makes me a total retard, but I thought it was fantastic. Any opportunity to let Martin Short shine should be celebrated, Elliott Gould is at his campy best, Nasim Pedrad is gorgeous and hilarious, and John Mulaney himself makes for a likable if slightly bland comedy protagonist. For those of you who gave up after the first one or two middling episodes, check out the Power Moves ep from later in the season, or maybe the Manhattan one, both of which are insanely brilliant and funny.
