What is likely to be Jessica Fletcher's last hurrah feels largely removed from any semblance of the MURDER SHE WROTE series - that it awkwardly places the character into a pre-existing narrative, and has to draw a long bow to justify her inclusion, makes for a slightly disorienting experience, especially when much of the story involves a treasure hunt rather than a traditional murder! Still, Lansbury does fine work as always; a beautifully lilting Celtic score is a nice finishing touch.

It was fine for a post-TV series TV movie.
