This "mini-pay-per-view" shows all the cracks in the veneer that led to the end of the wrestling boom and WCW's eventual ratings domination. The actual match only lasted 10-15 minutes (with an non-pro-wrestler antagonist pretending to wrestle), surrounded by WrestleMania/Royal Rumble hype and McMahon low-key begging the audience to help him spread pay-per-view availability. By this point, the No Holds Barred movie had become McMahon's "fetch," and he just wouldn't let it die.
