Toni Stroud is a trainee cop, proud of her job and on the way up. That ends the day she is raped by a fellow officer.On revealing the rape to her superiors, instead of investigating her complaint, her employers fire her. She and her family are subjected to endless harassment by the police. The Department closes ranks against her and rally to the support of the rapist. But with the encouragement of District Attorney, she finally summons the courage to take on the Department in court.
