Police detective Christopher Shay was shot during the Penny Romig murder investigation years ago. His then partner, Matt Carson, ends up confessing he was blackmailed with his own alcohol abuse by plausibly dirty police captain Murphy, after Chris's young daughter Sara convinces her mother Kim she somehow incarnates Peggy's memory. The only hope to get to the crucial autopsy reports is coroner Dr. Marquette's office. An elaborate cover-up proves dangerous for all. (imdb)

*SPOILERS*What we have here is a mix of a reincarnation case, psychical powers,death people's revenge and a possession case. If you're into paranormal stuff then you'll notice this mix on the spot, but it should be bearable for the rest of the world. However, it gets stereotypical later - the creepy children drawings is a motive used very often (i.e. american "The Ring"), so it's nothing revealing.The same goes for an unwanted teen pregnancy with "the bad guy". Plus for SOME interesting motives.
