The music felt forced into the story. Walken did ok. Everyone else was just meh.

'Peter Pan Live!' is definitely an improvement over 'The Sound of Music Live!', but it is nonetheless still laughable in many ways, the most notable example being the sequence where viewers were encouraged to--not clap--but tweet--to resurrect Tinker Bell.

I couldn't get through this. I don't really like the musical in the first place, and there was nothing here that made this attempt interesting. Allison Williams has a good voice, but not Broadway power caliber, and Christopher Walken is just... weird for the part. There are some good supporting cast members who make a valiant effort of saving it, but this adaptation just commits the cardinal sin of being boring.

the amount of childlike joy present in this adaption is really quite astonishing to witness. it's also fucking wry as fuck. how could anyone truly hate this? features a lot of wire-assisted flying in which the wire is clearly visible.
