I saw a Youtube video claiming "Pokémon Horizons is actually incredible" so I was ok why not I'll give it a whirl; watched like three episodes. Nothing really stood out to me. In all fairness I'm not the target audience – I'm not only too old for Pokémon, I'm SO too old that I could theoretically have a CHILD OF MY OWN who is at this point too old for Pokémon (but don't because I'm a manchild with a womanchild wife and we're too afraid to disrupt our hedonist lifestyle by becoming parents lmao)
