Slick, rather oddball little film.

The humour is pretty weak, apart from what Kobiela is capable of generating, and the whole thing is pretty rough, but this little attempt to satirise the consequences of biotechnology at the intersection of life and death isn't totally uninteresting. Focusing on insurance isn't a bad idea in itself, making it seem like this is directed more at the intersection of medicine and capitalism than at a critique of bureaucracy. Overall, however, it is of limited appeal.

Dizzying editing and great, witty production design (look at all those glasses!). Lot of fun, and a ballsy jab at Soviet bureaucracy.
