While I think the series was passable, I'm glad it was cancelled after two seasons. From set design to writing it was just too formulaic. It felt like a universal studio tour half the episodes. The actors phoned it in most of the time, I only really liked Ian. Ben and Addison had none of the charm or heart of Sam and Al. Part of me also wonders if the show restricted itself to achieve a TV-PG rating.

It's not quite as good as the original show, but it's still a lot of fun. It's unfortunate that Scott Bakula didn't decide to come back.
