Recipe for Love

Bitter experience has taught me to expect the absolute worst from romcom/chick flicks, so this was an unexpected shock (especially considering that it's a Hallmark Channel movie). There's some snappy dialogue that's actually believable, and the two leads have both charm AND some acting skill. If only the music guy had erred on the side of restraint--there's too damn much of it, and it sounds like the background music for "Desperate Housewives". There are far worse ways to pass a couple of hours.
