M. Night Shaym-Aliens!

Rick, Morty, and Jerry are abducted by the Zigerion aliens, who trap them in a virtual reality simulation to steal Rick’s secret for concentrated dark matter. While Rick and Morty quickly realize they’re inside a simulation—and then inside another simulation—Jerry remains blissfully unaware, believing he’s having the best day of his life. As Rick outsmarts the aliens with recursive trickery, the episode parodies twist-heavy storytelling à la M. Night Shyamalan, culminating in a classic Rick-style reversal. (Summary by Jakobostgren)
