What I like most about Roald & Beatrix is its admission that, while based on a true event, the film has taken artistic licence to embellish the story to tell an two interesting stories. With added fantastical elements, the 80 minute film, celebrates both titular authors in a charmingly cheesy way. The cast do a great job to both bring the characters to life, even if most of the dialogue is anachronistically modern. Plenty of cute moments, though possibly too referential to the authors' works.
