Pure gesture and expression — Smith makes the case for a true actor's showcase, from sweating to his bones to simply emulating the character having a drink — as Lee gives room and time to a silenced voice through a raw physical, emotional and minimal performance — one-man show, a few lights, a couple of editing tricks, ten cameras to fully register every breath. Sometimes too unfocused for a less than 60-minute piece, but still resonant and empowering.
