Minnesota-born wrestler, actor, and politican. Served in the Navy during the Vietnam war and later became a wrestler for the WWF (now WWE) in the 1970s, his fame as a wrestler lead to several acting roles. After retiring from wrestling he turned his attention to politics and became mayor of the town of Brooklyn Park, MN in 1991 and later Minnesota's state governor in 1998, which he held until 2003.
