Runaway Father

Bland TV movie is an inoffensive but pretty dreary affair, with adequate performances failing to add much lustre to an ultimately dull story; the overdone melodrama in the first half turns into an agonisingly slowly paced depiction of Mills' fairly low-stakes court struggles. Has its heart in the right place, but this tale (especially as depicted) is not especially cinematic.
