Fun fact: I received actual death threats for negatively reviewing this on MAL. That was how I learned that the anime fandom largely sucks, which is the only way I can explain the acclaim for this shit.

it was interesting at first, but not much else. sooo much misogyny all the time. there's this trans character so thats cool. buttttt. theyre evil to her alll the time. she's always getting sexually assaulted by both the cis boys and girls. lore accurate trans girl experience i guess. that being said, the characters are decently compelling, and the plot is atleast ok (at first). bur towards the end the plot just gets downright boring and i just feels like we kinda lose the plot, idk.

Hope everyone find their steins gate.

I just couldn't get into it. Something about the pacing and the pretentiousness of the story bothered me. It takes itself a bit too seriously.

Very enjoyable but pacing is a bit slow in the beginning.

The first half just sucked. The second half was... acceptable.

Looking back on it: this was definitely peak anime. How they made an intriguing and emotionally resonant story out of time travel with bananas is amazing, to say the least. Before watching this, be prepared to go all in with the world and the characters.

Fun, but often cringey.

Expecting me to trudge through 11 slow-paced episodes (almost half of the series) worth of annoying characters, over-used time travel tropes and melodramatic dialogue that frequently tries too hard to pose as intellectual but sounds more like pseudo-scientific drivel is just unreasonable. The rest of the series is marginally more interesting but still left me unsatisfied and uninvested in the end. If you're looking for a decent time-travel anime, I'd recommend forgoing this for Erased instead.

An interesting story presented in such an uninteresting way. Has a few moments of greatness.

The characters are so terrible, cliched and unlikable that any scientific potential this may have had is wasted.
