Tchaikovsky: The Creation of Genius

In 1893 Tchaikovsky died suddenly, many believe by his own hand. Why would this hugely successful composer of such classical masterpieces as "Romeo and Juliet", "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker" commit suicide?
