With the NYC women's/fashion magazine setting, it's easy to think of this as "Devil Wears Prada"/"Sex and the City"-lite. Or almost anything -lite, for that matter, starting with television-lite. The career and romantic "crises" of these shallow, 20-something chicks is just too fluffy to sustain the interest of most thinking adults.

The first two seasons were invigorating and funny. Seasons 3–4 started being a bit too cheesy and woke. Season 5 was just sloppy; one could tell they had to wrap up the show quickly because of Covid-19. All in all, a very entertaining and feel-good watch.
