The Buccaneers

I watched 2 episodes and while the acting/casting was mostly excellent (either the direction or Nan’s melodramatic acting was whack, worst in the show—but she’s the MC!), it didn’t hold my interest. There are too many movies & shows to watch to spend time with this one, imo. Feels undeveloped, and possibly because it was never finished. Lots of giggling and collapsing into a ticklepile of crinoline. Did they do that a lot, back then? I feel like the director is to blame. 😂 Book was ok.
