The first two episodes seem to be an entertaining little tale exposing the various social strata in an English village, with the ruling class running roughshod, as usual, over the lower orders, who score a few points while fighting back. But, man does it turn dark in the third episode... be ready.

Masterfully executed, but so, so depressing.

A disgusting little tale of human filth and how to further destroy a society by greedy needs. A BBC miniseries from the writing of Harry Potter's J.K. Rowling. Enjoyable dark comedy for sure, but I'm not sure that they nailed the backlash hard enough for a memorable pay-off.
