Plays a bit like a spoof of disaster movies (after all, what could be duller than standing in an elevator for an hour?). But anyway, it's got Farentino going ballistic and Chip (or Ernie) saving the day--oh yeah, and Don Stroud being a total dirtbag. Meanwhile, Carol Lynley does her usual bimbo bit, Arlene Golonka comes off quite a bit more hard-edged than usual, and the whole time Roddy McDowall is slumped over in the background, increasingly bemoaning his fate.
